HOT ! Vintage 60s 70s LEE 101-J Denim Jacket Size 46 Cut Off

Recently, a cut-off vest from the final period of the highly sought-after LEE 101-J with the square black tag, which has seen significant price increases. The bottom line of the tag reads "UNION MADE," and the presence or absence of the MR on the patch name (likely absent) is indistinguishable, so I'm listing it as late 60s to 70s. Note that after this, the 101-J lettering disappears from the tag, excluding reproductions.

In terms of Levi's, the 70505 Big E final and small e models are also from the 70s, so while there's some overlap between LEE and Levi's, the late 60s to 70s can be considered the golden age of denim jackets.

Overall, it has a realistic, original fade. While it's from the final period of the square black tag, it uses a lot of cotton thread, and there are many instances of thread fraying and skipped stitches, which I believe is characteristic of the vintage specifications from the late 60s.

There is a straight fabric weave irregularity on the left chest, a circular stain, fraying on the collar, a missing spare adjuster button on the back, thread fraying on the back and shoulders, and repairs, but

The charm of being a nearly half-century-old piece resides in the outstanding vertical fading of the left-hand twill. Although repairs may be necessary in the future, I hope those who understand old models and vintage items will consider it.

Due to the vintage boom and denim jacket boom, items from the 70s and earlier, especially in golden sizes, command high prices, but cutting off the sleeves is something you rarely want to do, so I recommend this as a rare item. Also, as you know, cut-offs from this era usually feature biker-style patches, so this plain type is rare, so please consider it.

There's also a theory that the 101-J is suitable for cut-offs because of its unique short length and wide armholes, which are derived from cowboys, so you can search for the silhouette to confirm. Also, it has been washed before listing, so you can consider it with peace of mind.
